Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This is my first entry in Not Me! Monday!

Mondays are not my favorite day of the week. When Monday rolls around, my weekly chores get started up again. After taking Sunday off from laundry, Monday always brings full dirty clothes bins. Monday also brings floors that need vacuuming, bathrooms that need cleaning, children that need educating. Would I take a Monday off and do something fun? Not Me!

Maybe I need to challenge myself to take a Monday off and take a field trip with my children. We can’t do it this week. We are taking time off from a few regular things to attend to a few doctor’s appointments.

Our daughter fell on Friday night, and she broke her wrist. So she will need an appointment with an orthopedic doctor on Monday.

Our baby, who is 2, is sick with a stomach bug. He may need a visit with the pediatrician for evaluation.

The other 4 boys are happy and healthy. Thank you, Lord.

So would I take a Monday off for fun? Not Me! Not this Monday! But maybe one Monday I will!

Have a blessed day!
