Getting Organized:
In your Home and Homeschool
![]() Merry Christmas!
Today, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time with your family. Spend a few minutes relaxing and resting. You don’t have to push, push, push through the day.
I am thinking of you who aren’t having the Christmas Day that you wanted. One of my dear readers lost her daughter this year to cancer. Her daughter is fully healed in heaven, but they are missing her so much on earth.
When my Grandfather died on December 13, 2008, my Christmas was not the normal celebration. I still have sweet memories of that time from Thanksgiving through the New Year. We found ways to celebrate and love our time together despite the big hole in our hearts that year. The fact is, I still have a big hole in my heart from his loss.
Another dear friend of mine is having a serious surgery on Christmas Eve. It was not something she expected, but God knew that she would have the surgery the day before Christmas. He is her Great Physician, and I pray for His touch on her today.
Some of you many have prodigal children. If you have read my blog or newsletter for long, you know that I have walked that path with one of my children, and God restored him to our family. This year I am talking that path again with another child, and it has been difficult many days for my mama’s heart. But I pray for this child daily and will continue to pray.
This newsletter is not intended to make you sad, but I wanted you to know that I do understand that all Christmas celebrations are what you envisioned. God is good, and He is with you.
Your Home Blessing for today is to enjoy your family.
Your Zone Mission for today is to pick up behind yourself and not dump in your bedroom.
My menu plan for Tuesday is turkey and trimmings.
Have a blessed day!
