Mama’s Choice – Getting Organized

Getting Organized:
In your home and homeschool

Today’s mission is for you to declutter in any area of your home. If you have a hard time deciding, write down 4 or 5 areas on slips of paper. Then draw one out. Set your timer from 2 minutes to 15 minutes and get busy! When the timer goes off, pull out another slip of paper and set your timer again. Do this until you run out of papers. This is a really fun way to declutter and get your house cleaned before the weekend.

If you have a large area that needs to be decluttered such as a basement or garage, you can use the same principle and divide the area into sections. The goal is to move quickly and not keep handling the same stuff over and over.

Use your declutter kit for this. If you don’t have a declutter kit, you can use boxes. Label the first box, “Throw Away.” Label a second box “Put Away.” Label the third box, “Give Away.” Use these to help you work through cluttered areas.

You can do this!

Have a great week-end!
