The Entry to Our Homes – Getting Organized

Getting Organized:
In your home and homeschool

This is one of my favorite weeks, as we work in making our living rooms and front of our homes peaceful and inviting. The missions this week are short. I know you can do them in less than 15 minutes. On Wednesday, get your family to help you move the furniture and clean under it. We are approaching fall, so think about changing some of your decorations around. Just making small changes can freshen up the look of a room.

We are starting week 4 of homeschool. Have you started your year yet? We have been using some different books this year, and we are getting the hang of our schedule. I know it is hard coming off summer break, but just take it slow and steady. You will get it done!

You can have a clean home and homeschool, too.

The Entry to Our Homes – Getting Organized — 4 Comments

  1. It’s our first day of school! This is my first year homeschooling two kids, plus caring for a preschool and toddler. Deep breaths:)! We are only doing our morning basket (some fun reading like bible, poetry, history) and language arts this week. Next week we will add in math and hopefully a rotation in the afternoon of art/Spanish/keyboarding. I appreciate your reminder of slow and steady!

    • Thank you for your note! You are doing a great job! Enjoy this time. I started homeschooling 16 years ago with two children, a toddler, and pregnant with number 4. It was an amazing year for our family.

      Blessings, Tami

  2. Thank you for sharing faithfully. I am sorry that I do not take time to respond.
We are gearing up for school this week and I’ve been pulling last minute things together. Your emails and book has been so helpful! I have shared your site with others who are struggling as well. I feel like C.H.O.A.S. is almost a thing of the past….not quite all the time though. lol! But our weekly blessings has really helped! I need to start applying the afternoon and evening routines. That is my goal this week, before we hit school full time. Thanks for all your tips and SUPPER ideas. Somedays I don’t even know what I want to cook and I look to see what you are having. lol!! God bless!

    • Thank you for this note and encouragement. I am glad that my posts have been helpful to you! Great job on working on your routines.

      Blessings, Tami
