Getting Organized Week 2 – Day 3

How are you doing on your morning routine? I have done mine for so long that it is just automatic. I don’t think about it. I just do it. I make my bed as I get up and walk to the bathroom. I am usually not even coherent at the time. But it is nice when I walk back in the bedroom and see my bed made. I smile even bigger when I get to the kitchen, and my sink is shiny and my coffee is ready to drink. That Before Bed Routine pays off, too. So, if you have not started your routines, yet, start today.

Wednesday – Set your timer for 15 minutes for the Home Assignment and 15 minutes for the School assignment

Home:  Make your bed when you get up. Brush your teeth and get dressed to the shoes. Swish and swipe your bathroom. Fill up your water bottle. Declutter a hot spot for 2 minutes.

You are going to grocery shop this afternoon and do something fun while you are out. Pack a cooler and ice for the groceries. Pack water bottles for you and the kids.

School: Start researching prices for the books you need to order.

Family Fun:         Pick a fun activity that you can do before you go grocery shopping. Make sure you give the kids a snack and have water for them to drink while you are out. Hungry, thirsty kids are not happy shoppers in the grocery store. If you want to take a walk in the park, take along your nature journals.

Remember to drink your water today. When you get busy and run errands, it’s easy to forget to keep drinking your water.

The most important routine of the day is your Before Bed Routine. It will set the tone for your whole morning.
